Zanin Smirked and shook the girls hand vigorously

"Pleasure to have you aboard even if it is odd...It's been me and Shen here for years" she said with a welcoming grin. She then looked at the boy and patted him on the head lightly. "your a cutie...hope you can fight" she grinned darkly. Rin glared at her and crossed his arms over his chest.

"I can fight! I am the best hunter around!" he boasted trying to get the woman off his case. Shen looked over at him and a small smirk appered on his face.

"I doubt that...but you will suffice" he said lightly.

Alysia smiled as the woman shook her hand so enthusiastically. Was it really such a big deal for them to have a demon on their side? Shen had snatched her up in an instant, why was she so special? She couldn't say, but her and Zel were gonna be on the lookout. Something was just odd about this whole arrangement. Shen was too familiar, Zel was too on edge, Rin was too familiar too. It seemed like something from a history barely understood, but Alysia knew she was involved now. "So do you guys just stay in this city or travel..." Alysia asked, trying to forget all this strangeness.

"We travel around alot, everwheres infested with these foul demons who kill for fun...I don't know how many times there have been attacks only a few cities away from us as we travled..." she said putting a hand on her hip looking at Alysia with a cunning smirk.

"Infact shen saved my life once from a demon but that is a story for another time" she laughed as she looked at the silent man. he looked at her quietly then his beautiful red eyes slowly slid over to Alysia. he held her eyes for a moment then his seemed to harden against hers as he looked away again. Rin on the other hand was to busy fuming to notice this exchange.

"Hey I will show you guys I am the best!" he said as shen suddenly looked at him for his outburst. Zanin laughed as she heard him boast.

"Keep dreaming but you must be worth something If shen's decided to let you join his team. He is currently ranked number one on demon kills" she grinned at him and he suddenly shut up.

"n-number...one..." he looked at shen wide eyed.

Alysia too was focused on Shen's eyes. Why did he hold her in his gaze like that? Why did he keep looking at her like that? They had never met before, how could he know her? Then there was Zel to explain away. She couldn't stop staring at the man, her blue eyes looked confused. That was rare for the white tiger. Zel always seemed so sure. Alysia looked down at Zel, meeting her intelligent eyes. She never really thought of Zel as an animal, but as a human that was furry and didn't speak... well much...

The truth is, Zel and Alysia did talk to one another, but not in the presence of others. They preferred to keep people believing she was just a tiger, because if they thought otherwise they'd try to take her. Later that night, Alysia knew they would speak about the day and the new characters in their lives. "It is pretty impressive that you are number one." Alysia said as she smiled at him, though to be honest she didn't care.

" I only do my job..." he said shortly still not looking at her his eyes rather focused on Rin who was stareing at him in Awe. He looked away from Rin as well meanwhile Zanin laughed and patted Rin on the head.

"Yes number one...witch means..I am number two" she grinned Rin glared at her when she patted him on the head like a dog. He hated being treated like he was below others. he didn't know why but he had been that way since he was a child. he pulled away from her hand and glared at her.

"So..." he said sounding unimpressed. she smirked again and started laughing.

"Well come on you two our room is waiting...this inn gave us a free room hope you don't mine sleeping on the floor because I get the bed kid" she said looking at Rin who continued to glare.

Alysia didn't much like Zanin, she was beginning to realize. The girl came off as snobby and far too high on herself. No one in this new world was amazing, they were just trying to survive. To be honest, Alysia wasn't so sure she wanted to be part of this group. Shen was quiet and creepy, and Zanin was quite the snob. Alysia would have much rather been on her own or with just Rin, though even he seemed to be starstruck. All three of them had things that bothered her outwordly, not to mention the eeried way Shen always looked at her and that odd moment with Rin before Shen had shown up. She looked at Zel, saying everything with one look. They were going to talk.

As they reached the room, Alysia looked as her companions, then down at Zel. "Hey, I'm gonna go explore the grounds a bit alright? I'll be back shortly.." With that, she smiled and turned to walk away, Zel following loyally behind her.

Shen watched her leave quietly as Zanin smiled and waved at her.

"Alright the room is 106 K?" she said smiling after the girl. Rin watched her leave and suddenly realized he was the only one in this group of three that was a newbie and suddenly he felt almost scared to be let alone with these two who were much higher rank then himself.

"Uhhh..."He said then turned to see Alysia's retreating back. He then decided he would be better off with her "I uhh am just going...to go with her a walk will do me good" he said turning and walking off pretending to not be in a rush to get away from them. He sighed to himself as he walked. They were top ranked one and two he had no was of comparing to them. he was just some newbi and that was what scared him. they were better and he was nothing.

Alysia foud herself outside the inn, in what must have been a garden- abandoned for now. She sat down on a bench after checking to see that she was alone. Zel hopped up beside her. "I don't like this Zel..."

Zel nodded her massive head in agreement. "Me neither, its too strange. That Shen man, he won't stop staring at you..." the tigers voice was smooth and melodic, like velvet to the ears. "I believe it to be wise to not fully trust him..."

"Same here... Why does he look upon me so? I don't know him, and I know he's seen a demon before, so it doesn't make sense..."

"Alysia, my dear, I'm afraid I cannot answer that. Though he does strike me as familiar, like someone I may have known long ago, but I cannot place it..." She sighed as she turned to Alysia, her daughter, though Alysia did not know that. "Just be cautious, Shen is not as he seems.. there is something up.... not to mention Zanin... I don't much like her either, though she's just a simple snob..."

Alysia nodded in agreement. "Oh yeah... all that bragging she does. What do I care if he's first or last? I just want to survive!" she said, leaning her head against the soft fur of Zel.

"We'll figure it out Alysia, though I think we should head back shortly. Its going to be difficult to find time to talk together, but you can usually read me pretty well, and I'll pull you out if I sense danger..."

Alysia smiled slightly as she ran her fingers through her fur. "Thank you Zel.... I couldn't survive without you watching over me..."

Rin had found her quickly but the moment he had he ducked behind a tree she was talking to her tiger, he already assumed it was a demon as they could take an animistic form. however he knew very few who spoke. he tried not to listen to her conversation but it slowly sunk in. she thought shen wasn't to be trusted. the man seemed nice enought a little quiet and he was a demon hunter that had to mean something. he continued to push close to the tree. he agreed with her on one part though he hated Zanin. as he continued to try not to be knoticed thinking it over he felt his body slip and then in an instant he fell to the ground with a thud.

"Ouch!" he had to be the most clumsy person he knew. he laid there knowing all to well she now knew he was there. he was trying to muster up a reason he had just been spying on her buit couldn't come up with anything.

Alysia and Zel both whipped their heads around to face the intruder on their conversation. It was Rin. Less bad than if it was Shen, but Alysia had to make sure he wouldn't mention this to Shen to win his favor. "Why were you listening to me... well... us, as you now know..." Her eyes were alight, worried, rushed, and angry. He had had no right to listen to her in such a way. "Why did you follow me..." she said, more quietly this time, knowing that scaring him wouldn't do any good.

"Uhhh umm..." he studdered as he slowly started to stand up dusting off his clothing lightly "I uhh..." he couldn't tell her the truth he would sound like a child 'I followed you because I feel insuperior to the other two and I didn't mean to listen in honest' he suddenly set his face hard.

"What should it matter..." he said growling his eyes much more impressive when he was glaring as if that was what they should be doing. " So what I followed you" he said looking away puffing out his cheeks like a child.

Alysia smirked slightly as she looked at his face. How cute, he was trying to be tough. "What..." she said with a forbidden grin in her voice. Alysia leaned in towards him "Couldn't trust the demon... so you had to follow her?" she said as she leaned even closer, her full lips a breaths distance from his ear, her sharp fangs evident "Had to make sure she wasn't planning on killing your idol..?" she whispered in Rin's ear, her breath hot and soft on his earlobe... "Is that it?" she whispered even more softly.

Then as suddenly as she'd leaned in, she pulled away "Or were you simply curious..." Alysia said as she met his eyes, her voice still a sultry whisper, enjoying toying with him in such manners "About what I do with my freetime..."

"I uhh...uggh...NO!!" he growled as she teased him. he was starting to think all woman were annoying. First this Zanin treats him like he's a dog and now Alysia. what had he hoped to gain by following her. some one who was on his level someone who was also new to demon hunting to commiserate with. he turned from her feeling worse then when he had been with the other two. she was just as mean as Zanin and twice as cruel about it. "...Fuck you..." he said as he started walking away. he hated when people teased him when they treated him like he was below them. he knew somewhere deep down that that had been his downfall before somehow elsewhere in another life.

Alysia looked after him in confusion. She had not expected to upset him that much. She looked to Zel. "I don't think that was a good idea." Zel shook her head.

"No it wasnt..." she said simply. Alysia sighed to herself as she chased after him. "Rin, I'm sorry, I didn't mean anything by it- I was just picking on you, I didn't know it bothered you... I'm sorry..." she said as she caught up to him, standing in front of him so he had to look at her as she apologized.

"I followed you because those other two are way stronger then me I felt out of place so I followed you..." he said suddenly after she apologized. he didn't know why he had said it really because it just made him seem even more pathetic in her eyes. "there I told you way thanks for caring..." he said sarcastically as he pushed past her.

"But don't worry I ain't gonna tell Shen about you little pet demon, bet he already knows anyways" he said continuing to walk his head down. his short hair falling into his green eyes.

"That's fine.... you could have just told me that, I wouldn't have minded. I wouldn't want to be stuck around them all alone either..." she said gently as she walked up next to him, turning to look at him. Alysia sighed and motioned for Zel to follow. "He may already know, but thats for not telling him. And she's not a pet exactly, more of a guardian, or an early warning system."

"Yeah you bet I'm not a pet..." Zel said as she walked up inbetween Alysia and Rin, and odd prickle hitting her fur as she rubbed up against Rin on accident. Another hint of familiariaty. Zel looked at his eyes, a lot like hers were when she was still using her human form. She sighed slightly to herself, trying to figure all of this out.

"We don't have to head back up there with them if you don't want to you know, I don't mind hanging out with you, I really am sorry I upset you. I didn't mean to.."

Suddenly, Zel bolted off, unusual for her, so Alysia of course followed. She ran through the garden, finding herself next to the tiger in a darker part of the garden. Alysia was looking up at the most beautiful man she had ever seen, he had long silken black hair and red eyes they glew with their own beauty. He was smiling kindly at Alysia, his eyes full of some sort of overwhelming happiness, black wings spread out behind him.

There she was, his daughter- well his and Rynn's child, Rynn who was standing right beside him in tiger form. Damien looked down at Alysia, she had grown up so lovely, so like her mother- anyone who knew what Rynn looked like would automatically believe her to be related to her. Damien took a step towards her, placing his hand on her shoulder. "Alysia..." he said softly, his voice begging her to believe him. "I'm sorry I've been absent from you for so long, but I had humans to take care of, to save... but I... I'm your father...."

Alysia stared at him in shock, finally finding out who her father was, a fallen angel. "I don't know if I can believe you...prove it.... how could i be half fallen...?"

"Think of wings, and they will show..." He said with a smile. Alysia did so, and much to her surprise, gray wings burst out behind her. That was a shock. She stared at them and stroked them, hardly believing it. "What...? What's your name...?"

"Damien...." As soon as he said this, Alysia knew. She had read her mothers journals, Damien, the beautiful fallen angel she had always mentioned. She understood what her mother had meant as she looked upon him not.

Damien then took notice of the human behind Alysia, a sliver haired man with green eyes. Thats not what got him though, it was the man himself. His soul was familiar, too familiar, and dark. He felt dark to Damien, like someone who had been very evil, but he knew that this boy wasn't. He decided to pass it off as nothing as he looked at the boy. "Hello there, as you know, I'm Damien... whats your name?" he said with his gentle voice and soft smile.

Rin had followed her out of concern even though he was still more then annoyed with her teasing of him. when he saw the fallen appeared he just watched silently something about the man sent a twing of anger through his head. but it was so soft so light he easily ignored it. his short silvery hair fell into those beautiful green eyes. His body was slender but very well toned his body clad in black leather and a trench coat. Rin stared at the fallen he had only ever heard of them never really seen one. the dark angles whom were the truely saint like creatures. there were old stories of course about the war between the angles and the fallens and the angels trechery. this man had to truely be a saint if he was one of there breed. when he asked Rins name the boy puffed out his chest and made himself look impressive. his green eyes sparkling with something inside of him.

"Rin...Rin Arokot" he said

Damien's eyes widened, and he looked to Zel for a moment, Zel looked surprised as well. Rin Arokot? Sounded an awful lot like Rynn Arokit, and his eyes were green as well... how odd. Not to mention the fact that the boy looked and seemed familiar. "Well... nice to meet you then Rin... So are you and Alysia.... friends?" He asked, taking a seat with Zel sitting down next to him, his hand stroking her head lightly.

Alysia was a bit jealous. Why would Zel leave her side? Even if he was her father, a fact that was still trying to sink in. She sighed and sat down opposit of Zel and Damien.

"How do you like Zel, Alysia? I sent her to you when I had to leave to protect the humans after the demons became too rampant to be contained..." He asked with a smile, lying a bit- he hadn't sent Zel, he and Rynn had just agreed to having her watch over their child. That would come to the surface in time.

"I love Zel..." she said with a smile as she looked at Damien. "And yeah, I guess Rin and I are friends..."

"Only when she's not teasing me..."Rin said looking away from Alysia before sitting next to her stareing at the fallen before him. he never thought he would be this close to a fallen angle they were respected now. he knew a long time ago they were hated and feared but now they were seen as holy. he looked at Alysia stareing at her as well. if this was her father then that ment she was a half fallen. his eyes skirted her face and slowly they found a place to rest on her wings she had just called forth. he then looked away and sighed. now he felt out of place again what was he?

A normal human with minimal skill and no power. he was not a walking legend like Alysia's father nor was he special in any way. he was not skilled like Shen and Zanin. he stood up again and turned to leave once again he was out of his element once again he was alone. he did not feel at home around them any of them.

Zel met Alysia's eyes, telling her to look after Rin. "I'll be along shortly... go..." she said softly, to where he couldn't hear." Alysia nodded and stood up, bounding after Rin and sending her wings away.

As soon as she was gone, Zel shook her large mane and soon she disappeared, a tall and beautiful woman showing up in her place. She had long curly crimson hair, and eyes of an emerald so shocking they were never forgotten. She smirked as she walked up to Damien, and he held her in his arms tightly, his wings wrapping around the two of them as he leant down and kissed her passionately on the lips. "Oh Rynn... I love you..." he said softly as he buried his nose in her hair.

Alysia caught up to Rin shortly thereafter. "Rin whats wrong?" she asked gently, trying to placate him once more. "Why did you run off like that..."
