In a small beatdown car a young woman no older then twenty eight drove towards one of the more crouded houseing districs in san fransico. she was a leazan of sorts for a school. she recurted new students. her jet black hair was tied up in a high ponytail. her eyes hidden behind thick glasses. she looked like an average woman and for the most part she was. as she drove the radio suddenly turned on and she hissed at it slamming the sound off again. the stupid car radio had been acting up all day. she stopped on a crouded rode and tried her best to parellel park on a steep hill that was common for the area. she ran over what she had to say in her head. this was a girl who's parents had never gone to the school infact she knew nothing about the girl other then the principal wanted her speificly to get her.

Victoria walked out of her decently sized bedroom, running a hand through her mid back length red auburn hair. She turned down the hallway and headed down the stairs, into the kitchen. Her dense multishade blue eyes darted to the clock. It was around 9 a.m., breakfast time. Victoria lazily opened the pantry, already knowing that there wasn't much of a choice in the ways of food. Her parents never seemed to have anything decent in stock.
With a sigh, Victoria found her way to the fridge. She settled on the usual apple sauce that she ate every morning. Victoria had a near love affair with apple sauce, she enjoyed the childhood food very much. After a while, she walked onto her back porch and finished her drink, looking at the trees and grass that coated the sizable back yard- well sizable for a neighborhood.
Victoria turned her eyes to her home, the large two story making her smile. It was a comfort, living there. She lived in a decent neighborhood, with happy homes and happy families. Victoria was thankful for her happy family. She sat down on the grass, feeling the warmth of the sun on her legs, only covered by a pair of shorts and a tank top. It was a Saturday, and Victoria was ready to relax....

as victoria sat there the woman spotted her. she sighed and looked out the window at the teen girl she had been sent to tell...well at least Varn hadent come to collect the girl. the woman looked at her reflection in the rear veiw mirror. ya she wouldent sacre the poor thing half to death. she then opened her car door slightly the door sticking and she complained loudly pushing on it hard. finaly it opened with a lound sound of metal scrapeing on metal. she winced at the sound. he neihborhood was well kept but the street was packed with cars. she got out and strigtened a tight white skirt she wore a black top underneath an unseasonable jacket that made up her suit.
"Excuse me!" she called over to the girl a small briefcase in one hand. as she walked towards her she stumbbled catching her self moments late. "Are your parents home?" she asked.

Victoria leapt up quickly. She walked over to the woman, passing to the front of her house. Victoria was surprised by the visit, to say the least, but she was also curious. She leaned against the fence as she eyed the business looking woman carefully. "'fraid not, is this something you can discuss with me?" Victoria's parents had left early that morning for a day trip to... somewhere. She wasn't sure where. "If you can't, they'll be back tomorrow."

"Oh dear...I realy needed to speak to them first Skye will have me for sure if i dont do this" the woman looked flustared as she walked towards the gate to the back yard. she was a nervious woman always had been raised in a small town she found these large cities to be uncomfoertable. "Is i possable for me to come in...there is...something...umm..." she looked around her nerviously.
"I...want...to....oh heavens sake can i speak to you in privet.." she said suddenly.

Victoria looked at her, slightly confused. She was most certainly an odd sort of woman. "Umm... sure I guess." Victoria led her through the back door into the house's main foyer. She motioned to a seat, imploring the woman to sit. "Calm down...." she said with a soft smile. Victoria was a nice enough person, though with the typical teen frame of mind. She took a seat opposite the woman. "Well, whats up?" Victoria asked in a cheery tone.

"Oh...I give up with this thing" she said throwing the case into her lap.
"Skye is going to kill me he sends me out to recrute him one person and i cant even seem to do that properly...I am a teacher there..." she said looking at the girl. "It's a school for gifted children..." she sighed exasperatedly as she looked at her.

What was so hard about recruiting for a school anyway? "Hey, calm down, everythings cool. Why are you so scared?" Victoria sighed slightly. "You guys think I'm gifted? My school already has a gifted program and I'm in it... or do you mean another level of gifted...?" she asked, wondering why this school would want her badly enough to contact her personally- and using a nervous person to...

"Ohh...but I'm not good at the Magick!!! I'm only there becuse I'm a half wearwolf...I teach Crystology!" the woman said slightly frantic about what she had said. she started to fiddle with the papers in her biref case looking for anything to prove it. she realy dident have anything on her an old faded copy of Crystal Magick was about the only thing in there other then papers. she looked up at the girl then sighed she started to mutter under her breath stareing at a stauett on the mantle peace. her mind was willing it as hard as it could to move suddenly the pice shot off the mantle and straight at the black haired woman. Abigail ducked as it flew past her.
"Damn...I only ment for it to scoot over...I am sorry" she said smiling sheepishly.

Victoria ducked as the object flew past. She was shocked. It was actually true? And SHE was one of them. Victoria stared at the letter for a long time, not knowing what to do. She wanted to go... but it was a big decision. And what would her parents think? With hesistation she slowly handed the letter back to Abigail. "Alright.... I'll go... its not too far... but you'll have to convince my parents..." she sighed as she sat back stilll in shock. "Do you know whether I'm magical or inhuman...?" Victoria smirked slightly. Did her parents already know...?

The woman said with an exasperated sigh. she then stood up and walked over to the shattered figurien she picked up the pices and fowned at it slightly. "As for convinceing your parents...thats why i wanted to talk to them first" she frowned and turned to the girl.
"I hope this wasent importaint" she said.

Victoria smirked lightly. "Nah.. it was ugly anyway. It was a gift, it was given to my parents a few years ago, they've been wanting to get rid of it for a while..." she sighed and watched Abigail slightly. "They won't be back until late tonight, so tomorrow would probably be your best chance. Tell me, does this stuff run in families?"

"Tommorow...right...." She said lightly and then looked at the girl. "Well...it depends sometimes children of non-magick parents can have the abblities but its an even odds between the two..." she said lightly.

"So basically they may or may not be hiding something from me...?" Victoria sighed. "Well.... I guess things are gonna change, huh...?" she chuckled lightly. Victoria continued to look at the woman and then looked away slightl. "So what am I gonna do with all these new skills I will have...?"

"Well...some students come and learn from us then go on to teach at our schools others get jobs in the occult field...others go on to help the government...they have special teams that deal with what normal people call 'Paranormal Activity'...I chose Teaching much safer...Not all wearwolves are social like my mum was...same with vampires...there are some rather large covens in New York and Los angels" she said looking at the girl standing straigter then she normaly did. "And then there are then Demon portals...scattered all over i'm suprised the government is able to keep them secret realy" she said in a soft wisper nodding.

"Demon portals?" Victoria was rather surprised, "What are those?" she asked as she stared the woman in the eyes, wondering why she had suddenly been informed of this and where the future would soon have her...

Victoria watched the woman leave and went back to her back yard, sitting underneath a tree on the rim of it. She looked up at the sky, leaning against the tree. Had that really just happened? Was she really.... magick? Victoria found that rather hard to believe. She raised her hand to her face and looked at it for a while. Would these hands truly be able to do magick soon? Victoria didn't know, but it was surely worth a try. In her mind, she decided that if she was really 'gifted' she would probably help the government- or take it over... she chuckled slightly. What silly fantasies girls had...
Victoria spent the rest of the day at home, varying her activities between television watching, phone calls, and the few bits of homework she had left to do. It went by rather drearily, with the excitement of the morning gone...
Late that night, before her parents got home, Victoria found herself crawling into the bed. She smiled as she cozied up under the soft comforter and soon fell into a deep sleep- her dreams alight with fantasies, magical spells and handsome princes. The woman from earlier had inspired her to dream once more of the fairy tales she used to love as a child. But perhaps now, she would become one...
