Kaze watched her lightly through his blue eyes he looked so much like his son except for a light tint of red in his hair that the younger Kaze did not have.
"I let him kill me becuse we both know I cannot die...I hope one day he'll just accept the worngs I have done in my life...but I fear that may be asking to much of him" he smiled lightly as he said it then stood up picking up some of his papers.
"Now you should be getting off to your next class miss..." he looked down at his papers and read off her name lightly. "DeShoun" he said with a light smile as he walked from the classroom.

Kaze sat outside looking down at his gun lightly. He hated that man so much but, a part of him told him that if he was not immortal he would not try to kill him out of fear of actually succeeding. he slowly looked at the red hand gun yet another thing that reminded him of his father. He remembered when he was a child before he had been sent off. His father had given him the gun as a present on his fifth birthday a day later he was sent away to the main land.
Kaze threw the gun down onto the ground and then looked at his right arm were the demon gun sat quietly mocking him. That gun was the one thing his family held dear and it was the one thing he hated the most. He didn't know why he hated it, but it felt foreign to him like it was never suppose to be there.
"Fuck you father" he growled sarcastically to himself.

Elayna sighed, listening to him speak about his son. "Sorry I ended up witnessing that..." She said, grabbing her things up once more and walking out of the classroom, rushing to her next class. Elayna's mind was running at a million mile an hour, thinking over everything all at once. How odd it was to see a parent and child that hated each other so much.
Elayna had been close to her mother, very close. Her father too. The perfect family, most would say. And it was true. There really wasn't much conlict. Her mother was a little more independent than her father might have liked for her safety, but it wasn't enough to cuase problems in their marriage. Perhaps though, if her mother had been less independent she'd still be alive. Elayna just hoped that she would be smart than her mother.

Kaze slowly stood up and picked up the handgun he had tossed aside. he was done thinking this type of life was not something he would have chosen and as such he knew precisely what he wanted to do, or even...what he had to do. His blue eyes looked up at the front of the school a towering castle.
"Hope you have a horrible life father" he said as he walked towards the school. he had to grab his stuff and a bike. he smirked to himself as he walked through the halls watching as people skirted him. this would be the last time he would have to deal with that.

Elayna continued her walk to where she assumed the next class would be. As she walked on, her eyes unfocused as she stared at the ground, she saw nothing but the ground and even that was detached, her mind was far away. She saw nothing. Elayna was suddenly jolted out of her daze as she ran into the hard muscular chest of someone walking far too fast. The impact made her stumble backwards, though she did not fall. Slowly Elayna raised her deep sea eyes, knowing already who she'd see. "Kaze...." She said simply, holding his gaze.

Kaze looked down at the girl with a slight frown he had been so caught up in his thoughts that he had run into her. He had to wonder what her feeling towards him were now after she had seen him walk away so coldly from his father whom he had shot. he knew the man was still alive probubly waiting for his class to file in. this time Kaze didn't intend to be one of the students. instead he had something else on his mind. he wanted to really experince life, not be bound up in a cage by tradition and his father. he looked at her and slowly a smirk crossed his face.
He just smirked at her with his sparkling blue eyes. Hadn't she said something about wanting a grand adventure...
"are you really bored...with your life" he said cooly as he continued to stand there infront of her. "or were you just trying to sound cool with your talk about adventuring?"

Elayna held his gaze, shocked that he was not angered with her. It relieved her. Why did it relieve her? She supposed it was because she felt a kinship of sorts, neither of them needed this place, both of them wanted out. And he seemed to be getting at something. "Kaze...." Elayna said softly "I would never say anything to try and be cool. I am so bored here... I don't want to sit in a classroom and practice. I was raised practicing, I want to actually DO something...." she set her gaze upon him, hoping he gathered just how serious she was by her tone.

" Good then pack you bags and meet me infront of the school in ten minutes" Kaze said walking past her without another word his smirk still firmly in place. As he walked he reached his dorm in a flash and was packed even quicker only bringing a few sets of clothing and a bag that clanked lightly as he placed it into his pocket. He was ready for anything and wanted to just forget this life...maybe this time he would have something worthwhile to do.
***
He didn't know how long he had been walking his short black hair fell into icey blue eyes. he was short and slender and wore heavy robes obscuring his face. not that he needed it this far into the forests of the island. What was he searching for? A fermiluar face in the back of his head. something or someone he had never seen, only remembered. His story had started normal untill his family had been killed before his eyes., now however he was looking for this face the man who seemed to never be there but was always in his head. he could feel him his every emotion seemed to flood him.
"...Guiding one...what do I do when I find him...give me a sign...why am I seeing this man in my mind...what is the purpose" he spoke to the empty air a shiver running down his spine. he could feel her every were the patron deity of his small village. The guiding one gaurded him and guided his steps. his hand rested on a rusty old sword as he continued his trek into the darkned forest.
' don't you know what you need to do....' he looked around it was a whisper on the wind he had heard time and time again.
"n-no..."He muttered a second later a creature came crashing through the underbrush it ran past him but as it did his sword as if by it's own accord sunk deep into the beasts flesh.
' now you should know' the wind whispered as blood slowly dripped from his sword and the beast let out it's dieing yowl.

Elayna nodded with a wide grin. She bolted to her dorms, grabbing the things important to her and packing them tightly into her one pack. Within ten minutes she was outside with Kaze, smirking at him, wondering what rumors would be started if and when people found out that Kaze ran away with the new girl. "Ready?" she asked him, smirkin widely. "I can't believe you invited me...."

Kaze looked at her when she came outside and smirked walking slowly towards an old shed on the outskirts of the school grounds.
"Yeah...just one more thing" he said reaching it and looking at the lock. It was old and rusting making it a perfict target. he took a step back and pulled out his gun shooting it open with a loud bang. He knew the sound would attract attention as he looked up and saw several students hanging out the window to see what caused it. this only made the odd man smirk wider and flip them the brid before opening the shed and looking around. It didn't take him more then a second to come out pushing one of the motorcycles that were stroed there. he looked at her as he got on it.
"Well?...coming or not..." he asked looking at her with a grin.

"Hell yeah I'm coming!" Elayna said, grinning too darkly and too widely to be anything remotely innocent. She hopped on the motorcycle behind him, about to wrap her arms around his waist and hold on, but she stopped herself. It would be too strange, she'd just have to keep her balance. This was great. Elayna had never been more thrilled in her life. Her father wouldn't even know, he was so convinced she'd be at school for a year- not to mention he was out of it anyway. She was wreckless, yes, but she didn't care at all. "Let's get on with it... where are we going?"

Kaze shrugged and revved up the bike as he did several of the teachers were already making there ways down to where he was. he looked into the crouwd and saw his uncle and father. they could go to hell for all her cared. he looked back at her.
"You would be an idiot not to hold on..." he said as he suddenly took off on the bike.
***
"Why?" he asked the air as he stood near the dieing animal's corps is seemed to rot before his very eyes as he looked up into the sky. "Why must that be the answer!"
"I only want to be at peace Guiding one...why do you send me to battle for you...why is this man destined to die" he yelled out the wind started to kick up around him in a twister and slowly a being formed from the dust a gentile woman with beautiful green eyes and soft brown hair that was pulled back in a ponytail. She smiled at him sadly her eyes were so pleasent to him to welcoming he wanted to fall into those eyes.
"He...must die...if you are to survive...I do not make the storyline of your lives...I only guide you down them" she said in the voice of an angel. he stared at her and slowly felt himself fall to the ground his eyes spilling over with tears. "Shh...I am sorry..this is your destiny as it is his..." she whispered slowly walking over to him and putting her arm around him. she smelled of roses and other beautiful flowers. as she wrapped him up in her arms like a loving mother he could only cry he did not wish to kill anyone.
"W-why?" he whispered into the shoulder of her elegant gown. she sighed and continued to hold him.
"Becuse...everyone has there path...and it must be followed" she whispered. "now stop you tears and do your job...you will have my strength to hold you up" she whispered then slowly disappeared in the mist.

Elayna was literally lurched forward into his back, her arms wrapping around him tightly. He had a wonderfully muscular chest and torso, that was certain. She couldn't help but imagine for a moment what he would look like with his shirt off, but Elayna quickly dashed that thought from her mind as she was pressed against his equally built back. She couldn't be thinking about him like that, he was just a boy that was connected with her, only because they both wanted adventure. Kaze was nothing more to her, and Elayna was nothing more to him. They were partners thrown together by adventure and nothing else. She had to remember that... but those muscles.
Elayna would have spoken, but she just felt the rush of the escape, the thrill of the ride, and the lovely adventurer closed her eyes as she leaned against Kaze and felt the fast wind through her hair.

They drove for several hours past the vastly changing landscapes deserts forests towns pastures. they all seemed to blend after awhile as they drove. Kaze handled the bike with precision just like he handled his guns. his beautifully long black hair that was tied in a ponytail was slowly coming undone by the whipping wind. Soon they found themselves on a deserted road in the middle of a dense jungle like forest. Kaze smirked to himself and pulled the bike to a stop this would be as good as any place to stop for awhile. his legs were cramped from keeping them in the same position for so long. he looked around him and jumped off looking at Elayna who continued to sit on the bike.
"...This is as good a place as any...lets take a break... there should be some MRE's in the bikes compartment...Cloud is never unprepared...and since this is his bike that means we won't be either" he said as he nonchalantly pushed a button on the bike. suddenly two large compartments popped open from the sides to revile a rather extensive hiding spot.

Elayna had certainly enjoyed the ride, though Kaze's hair would occasionally whip across her face. It was a little comical, but she was so placated and calm from the rythm of the ride that she hardly noticed. Once they stopped riding, she hopped off, stretching her legs several ways. Elayna stood and looked at Kaze, running her fingers through her hair to smooth it down. "So what made you suddenly leave today?" She asked as she looked at the storage compartment, impressed by the size, a grin on her lips as she learned they had stolen Cloud's bike. "I have to say this is the most fun I've had before.

"No reason..." Kaze said lightly pulling out a MRE from the compartment and offering it to her. It was a yellowish white plastic bag. It was often used by the millitary for food rations but Cloud having lived on the things for most of his time with shin-ra liked to keep them around just in case. They weren't bad persay just odd. "Here...there not so great...but good enough" he said fishing another out for himself.
"do you know why I hate my dad?" he asked as he sat down near the motocycle with his slowly opening it up and pulling out it's contents and assmbling the chemical heater used to heat up the food. "Toss me some water.." he said motioning to the compartment.

Elayna took it, looking at it for a moment then shrugging to herself. It was better than hunting and hoping. She grabbed a water and tossed it to him, sitting down across from him and opening the water she had grabbed for herself. "I assume it has something to do with him leaving you with your grandmother?" Elayna asked, figuring it was as good a guess as any. "Sorry I overheard that by the way.... I just got caught up listening."

"It doesn't matter that's part of it but not all of it..." he frowned darkly and opened the water pouring part of it into the MRE package and setting the chemical heater in it. the rest of the bottle he started to drink leaning up against the tree he was infront of.
"He sent me to live with my grandmother when I was five...my grandmother is Insane...she drilled me every day day and night...I rarely got sleep and food was almost unheard of....I survived what else was I suppose to do...it wasn't until two years ago that I was transferred here...I thought I would be happy to see my father and mother..." he shrugged lightly taking another deep drink and pulling his hair tie out of his hair. "I was partial right...having my mother back was more important to me then anything, but...my dad...the instant I saw him I hated him...I blamed him for how my grandmother treated me...and to top it off I know it's irrational..." he glowered lightly as he looked away from her and started to retie his hair back.
"Shortly after I found out my father had killed his in anger and hate...the man had never done anything to my dad....they just hated each others guts with a passion" he shrugged lightly.

"Wow...." Elayna said, watching him for a while then looking away at the ground, doing the same with her MRE that he had. "I'm sorry to hear that about your grandmother and all. It couldn't have been easy, everday for what.... ten years...." She said, looking up at him with her deep blue eyes. Elayna considered whether or not she should open up to him, but it seemed like as good a time as ever if they were going to be together for who knows how long.
"I lost my mom.... here about two, two and a half years ago. She was a lot like me- brave, rash, good at fighting. Her and Dad trained me to be able to defend myself. We were such a happy family...." She said softly, keeping her composure as best she could "She went off one day, to train or run or something, I can't remember. She ran into a large band of bandits. Too many for her, too brutal. But Mom had to fight, her independent soul wouldn't allow her to be kidnapped and saved or just robbed. I found the body..." Elayna trailed off, shuddering at the thought, wondering at why she was telling Kaze this.

Kaze just listened his face didn't seem to change at all as he heard her speak. He felt sorry for her of course but...he had never showed emotions well. He blamed it on his grandmother's harping. instead of trying to comfort her the black haired man frowned lightly.
"I see..." he said. not really sure what to say. he turned to his food and pulled it out of the package he let out a small growl and dropped it after finding it was to hot to handle with his bare hand. he sighed and picked it up pulling it out slowly with his shirt. "you should be careful with your...don't make the same mistake I just did" he said still frowning.

Elayna hadn't expected him to say much. He wasn't exactly a born comforter, but it'd been a long time and Elayna was past needing comfort. "I won't...." She said softly, being careful with the MRE and keeping it from fitting the ground. "So where are we going Kaze? Do you even know?" Elayna wondered aloud, looking up at him once more, silently telling him that she was okay with his reaction to what she'd said.
