Cold and damp his hair falling into his great blue eyes that watched out the cages doors Nicholai was a wreak of his former self. he use to be a vibrant young boy with a wide smile and a happy disposition. now however he couldn't smile. He wanted to smile again for his sisters sake so he could look proudly up to the heavens and show her he was fulfilling his promise but there was no way he could in this place. he looked down at the ground beneath him cold stone floors made him shiver lightly. He hoped to never be taken form here however as he knew something worse waited for those who were taken.

"Gomen nei...Ane-san Oka-san Otou-san..." he muttered lightly in Japanese. He had been captured not to far from the town he was now in he had no family and tended to stay out of others way. he was perfect to pick off. He continued to sit int the corner being as inconspicuous as possible.

Vivienne Masters

She wasn't in the mood for breaking. Not this day. Vivienne wanted someone easy, someone weak that she could push around, to amuse her by their pain. Pain was her salvation, pain was her true love, pain was her reason. If for nothing else other than the fact that she understood pain- Vivienne knew everything about it, everything there was to know about it. And therein was the source of her affinity for it.

Vivienne was pretty, but most standards, with her long blueblack hair and blue eyes. She had a slime figure, kept that way from refusing to eat when she should have, and from running. She had always run, as long as she could remember. That's what she did, Vivienne ran. But that was aside from the point this day. This day, the order was to find someone that was small. The graceful woman drew eyes, some fearful, some curious. There was a sense of something... wrong with her, though her rich clothing- though it always covered her back completely- and appearance made no one challlenge her. Vivienne wandered down the cages, humming an old lullaby to herself, a soft soft smirk on her lips as she found herself at the cage of a young male blonde. He was small enough, for certain.

Vivienne leaned down, her cold blue eyes searching his face. "Hello there little one... might I ask your name... hmm?" She said, a dangerous look in her eyes lurking just beneath the surface- so small though, that it was barely even noticed.

His cage was being approached his attempts to remain unknown was not working then she spoke and he instantly jumped from where he sat.

"Watashi...Nicholai Desu" he said hoping if he used his second language to answer she would think that was all he knew and would forget him. He could see the look in her eyes she was one of the bad ones one of the ones who would make him hurt.


"He knows English..." the man who was showing her to the cages said with a light smile. "He's a very tricky one...I'm not to sure his temperament really" he said to the beautifull woman with a smile his eye looking at nicholai with a hungry look. he knew this one would sell for quite a mark he was cleaner then most and was virginal to boot. "he has never bee thouched...high marks for that of course..." he said with a sly smile to the woman.

"What do you think?" he asked trying to sell her on the boy.

Vivienne chuckled gently to herself as the man said he was able to speak English. "I don't much care if he talks anyway...." She looked at the leader "It doesn't matter what he says, if anything at all. " Vivienne shrugged, listening to the man trying to sell the boy. Suddenly though, she turned and gave the man a harsh glare "You honestly think I care about the boy's virginity? Do I look like I'm hunting for a sex slave? Do I look like I need one!?!" Vivienne demanded in her harsh but soft tone.

She then turned her gaze once more to the blonde shrinking away in the cage. "Not one for courage.... I like that... I'll take him... charge him to my card...." Vivienne said, handing it to the man without even asking a price. She didn't care, she didn't need to care. All that mattered was the delicious, beautiful pain to come later that evening. "Bring me a leash too... he may be just cowardly enough to run away..." Vivienne then quickly dismissed the shopkeeper, not wanting anymore of his sales.

Nicholai watched as the transaction for his life was made but he slowly stood to his feet. she didn't want him for sex then she wanted him for something else something that he knew she would revile in dealing him. he stood there his eyes on her big orbs of bright blue watched her almost pleadingly.

'she thinks you'll be easy...' he heard the voice but wanted to forget it. maybe she would take him somewhere nice. why did she have to mean she would hurt him. ' stand your ground coward...or I will stand it for you' the voice spoke again and nicholai wanted to retreat to the back of the cage but he stood there. after a few moments the man came back with a leash and handed it to the woman with a smirking smile.

"here you go..." he said.

Vivienne took the leash and her credit card back. She pocketed the card and attached the leash to the collars they always put on the slaves. "Come now, don't be slow or you won't be happy. Master is what you are to call me, for you don't deserve my name..." Vivienne said coldly, leading him along at a rapid pace towards the car she had waiting. "You will learn your purpose when I decide to reveal it to you, but you should go ahead and get it in your mind now- hope is not something you will be having..." she grinned darkly to herself, a flashback of her master saying the same thing to her, the wonderful man who had taught her so much about pain and its kindness.

Soon they reached the car, and Vivienne rudely threw him in the back, climbing in the front and ushering the driver on, taking them to the largest house in town. Of course she lived there, it was the house her master had had, and she coudln't bear to part from it.

Nicholai sat in the back of the car his hands folded in his lap as he avoided looking at the woman. however at the same time he felt sorry for her there had to be a reason she was like this. there was always a reason for why people were the way they were.

"sorry...If I have made you mad..." he said his eyes looking into hers bright blue eyes full of life and strangely calm. Nicholai knew his strength it was his unwavering will.

' yeah that right no matter what she won't break you down...' he heard the voice and continued to push it back. He was one of those mean people.

"Oh you do speak then...." Vivienne said, turning her back to him as she moved her hair away from her neck, the very edge of a jagged scar peeking up over her neckline. As if she remembered it was there, Vivienne, dropped her long black hair. "Why are you apologizing? You have not made me angry, I could honestly care less either way. You are just someone I am willing to share my world with... how could you have angered me?" Vivienne asked, her voice kinder than it should have been, as if she had a lovely surprise in store for him. To her, he was getting a gift, but most people didn't see it that way.

"Someone has hurt you in the past haven't they..." Nicholai said quietly after he saw part of the scar when she moved her hair. he wondered what pain had she endured what suffering could make her this way. "I don't want to be hurt..." he said as if he could read her every thought but he just knew that was her reason because she did not want him for the other.

Nicholai's bright blue eyes looked at her with a sadness beyond what he appered as if he had experienced a lifetimes pain already but his was emotional. he had lost his whole family first his parents then his only sister he was alone in the world and it still scared him. however he was strong for her and would remain that way although he couldn't keep his promise to always smile.

"Stop talking to me like we're equals..." Vivienne said, refusing to grace him by looking at him. "You know nothing about me, and you will continue to know nothing about me. You don't deserve to know, and the sooner you get that in your head, the sooner you will be more understanding." Vivienne siad, refusing to speak another word as the driver pulled into the house. She got out and opened the back door, snatching him out of the car roughly, making sure he was thrown off balance and fell down. "Get up you rotten excuse for a boy...." Vivienne said harshly, her eyes colder than Siberia as she pulled on the collar hard.

Nicholai slowly got to his feet his eyes looking up at her they were sad but there was something else there pity he pitied her.

"I'm sorry you hate me" he said in his sweet voice as he looked at her still with those beautiful blue eyes of his his blond hair falling into his face as he looked at her. "I don't think your as mean as you are acting..." he said again his voice softly sweet as he walked after her towards the home.

"Good lord you think you are so much more important than you are. I don't have any emotions towards you at all. It's not personal, don't worry." Vivienne said, leading him to the house roughly. "And you don't know me at all. I am exactly as you see me..." she said, her mind flashing back to her first master, as he beat her and raped her- telling her it was her fault, but that's alright, because the pain was good, the pain was love... She shook it off, pushing open the doors and walking straight towards a small door in the foyer. It led to the basement, Nicholai's new home.
