Kaze looked at her and for the first time he smirked at her it was the closet thing the man did to a smile as he had never smiled. His blue eyes seemed to hold a mischievous quality to them at the question. there were two reasons really as to why people avoided him. he pulled out one of his smaller one shot guns and aimed it at one of the students near by. the person stopped dead in there tracks and instantly stared at him like he was some sort of murderer. Kaze then pulled the trigger but instead of it hitting the poor person it just riccoshade off the ground just infront of him. he then put the gun away still looking at her the whole time.
"There afraid of me because when i first got to this school...I use to do that to the teachers that annoyed me..." he said.

((i'm so sorry I had to leave so suddenly last night. The time took be by surprise))
Elayna returned the smirk as he smirked at her. It was only polite to show that she was in on the joke. She watched as he did so, her sapphire eyes widening with her grin. He certainly knew how to instill fear. The student looked like an animal, trapped in a corner. It was odd, seeing the power he had over them. Kaze could certainly grow up to be a great leader or adventurer too.
"So you would make the teachers think you were going to shoot them? That takes nerve, I certainly couldn't have done it." Elayna said, genuinely impressed.

Kaze shrugged lightly as he looked at the girl. she had no fear of him at all and that almost made him want to smile at her but instead he just continued his smirking.
"...It doesn't take much guts when you know no one is going to touch you...i was sent to the principals alot...but what can she do...keep me from moving so what" he said with a shrug as he once again pulled out his large red hand gun and leveled it with the target. he hit dead on to the target with his odd was of holding the gun. Kaze was one of those people who just seemed larger then life his whole demeanor was something of a mystery even when he seemed to be lossening up around her by the minute.

Elayna smirked at him as he shot and spoke. "You are very good at that I must say....." she said, shooting once more, though by now Kaze's hole was so large it was impossible to tell whether or not it went through the center. Elayna didn't much care. "So.... what are you training so hard for...."

The instant she spoke he started to frown again putting his gun away.
"Let's just say...there is one person in the world...that I consider a rival..." he said darkly crossing his arms over his chest.
"...but that is not important" he growled his bright blue eyes slowly tracking over to his father who was barrating a student who had been fooling around with the gun.

Elayna saw that she had struck a nerve with him, sorry she had done so. She was just gaining ground, and now she had lost some by asking a question that Elayna hadn't known would cause him annoyance. "Well then I wish you luck...." She said, her eyes following his to his father. "I'm here because Father wanted a new life.. and I wanted to be stronger so I could quest for anything and everything..." Elayna said, not sure he cared enough for her to really need to ask. She wouldn't go into the details at the present moment.
A mother's death and watching her father fall apart weren't exactly conducive to being a regular girl, but Elayna never wanted to be regular anyhow. It was better to be strong, better to be a threat. And she intended to stay that way, perhaps that why she liked Kaze- he too was different.

Kaze listened to her mulling over the information in his mind and saving it for later. He was one of those people who remember every little piece of information he heard. He wasn't really sure why he committed it to memory but he thought maybe at some time it would come in handy even if just for a small while.
"I see...He muttered his blue eyes slowly finding there way to her. "I am only at this school becuse it is tradition for my family" he muttered lightly.
"My grandfather...he was one of the founders of this school...guess you could say out families life is in this place...well, at least that's what my mother use to tell me" he said with a shrug. in all the time he had been with his grandmother there had been one thing that had kept him from going insane because of her. His mothers letters, the bubbly summoner would send him a letter once a month. He remembed as a child getting those letters and feeling her love for him pour over in her words and always there was her promise to bring him home soon. years had passed and he had never come home...he wasn't sure if he even would recognize home if he was there now.

"Do you want it? I mean... do you want it for you?" Elayna asked, realizing that she had no control over her mouth. Why was that? She asked questions you just don't ask a near perfect stranger. "I just want to grow up really, I want to get out in the world...." Get away from her father's depression was the real reason. Not to mention the fact that she severely resembled her mother, causing him even more trouble.
He had loved her, that was for sure. Her mother had been his life, and his daughter his heart. When she'd been murdered, brutally, of course, he'd pretty much died. Elayna had thrown herself into trainign, he's allowed her too- justifying it with trying to protect herself from a similair fate. Elayna would NEVER be murdered by bandits. Hell would freeze over before that. "You're different from them." She said suddenly, simply, turning her deep blue eyes upon his face for a moment, not meaning it badly by any means.

Kaze sighed and shook his head lightly.
"Different is a matter of opinion..." he said looking at her. "It is my families tradition...I will uphold it..." he said with a soft frown.
"It is my duty to my family..." he said his arm still crossed as he thought about his own response. he would do anything to have a real family to show his father how a read dad should act with there kids. Never once had his father spoken to him and he had learned to resent the man hate him even. He was a Kaze through and through.
"....I am just like those who have come before me...in all ways even my way of thinking" he said more to himself then to her. there was a glimmer of it in his eyes a spark that said it all. He was his fathers son just as his father had been like his dad.

"I didn't mean different from your family... I meant from the students. They just strike me as normal people, some will do well, some will do nothing, some will do normal. But you.... you seem like you will be extraordinary in something, whatever it may be..." she said with a shrug, not saying much more. Elayna didn't exactly want to weird him out.
"Sorry to speak so openly. I just say what I think. Don't really have a filter." Elayna said, aiming her gun and shooting through the hole again, knowing it was impossible to tell if she'd gotten better. "I also tend to talk too much..." she finished, refusing to look at him as she knew a faraway look had appeared in her eyes and she didn't want him to see it. Elayna's mind had taken her back to childhood, when she'd been only seven or eight, her mother had lovingly teased her about talking too much one afternoon after a meal with family friends. They all found her an adorable child, but they gave her a hard time too. A small smile ghosted at her lips, but it disappeared as soon as it was even aware or its own existence.

The bell rang to signal the class was at an end and Kaze's father dismissed them with a congenial wave and a very forced smile. it seemed he was a rigid as his son.
"tomorrow we will be doing the same" he said to the class. "Oh and..I was asked by another teacher here...Cloud Strife to pass these out" the man said holding up a stack of papers. as he handed them to each stuident leaving he looked at his son with a sad look on his face.
"Son I would like to speak with you please stay" he said to Kaze who chringed and glared darkly.
"Fuck you" he said.
"fine...you will stay son or I will shoot you..." the older kaze glared still handing out the fliers.

"Good lord you are violent people..." Elayna mumbled to Kaze before taking the flyer and walking out of the classroom.
Well that had been interesting, that was certain. She'd managed to keep somewhat of a conversation with the stoical school.... bully? Or was he just the badboy? She didn't really know. Elayna didn't really care. Onward through her schedule she supposed. Her opinion was yet unformed about this place. And with that thought, her midnight eyes gazed down at the flyer to see what she could see. Apparently it was a training exercise. Well that was interesting, perhaps she'd go.

Kaze stayed as he was told by his father but obviously was not happy about it his arms crossed over his chest his lips pursed darkly. when all of the kids finnaly left he growled and looked at his dad.
"Well..." he hissed unhappy about having to talk to the man.
"...I just thought you should know...starting next week...I will be the new principal...Lisa has decided to retire after she just recently recived the backlash from the incident...I know you were to young to remember but..." His father sighed as he looked at his angery son.
"I'm sorry but that was the only way...you were really young...and they were killing alot of the kids purposefully...I didn't see reason to keep you with us when you had a higher chance on the mainland with your grandmother" he frowned darkly his son's gaze almost seemed to burn into him. He remembered when he had had that kind of passion. he almost wondered where it had gone, maybe to the hundreds of students he had taught through his years as a teacher here. or maybe it had left him when the demon gun had. he looked at his sons arm and slowly his left hand reached up and grasped a hold of his upper arm were a circle of feathers was tattooed.
"Make all the excuses you want..." the younger Kaze growled at his dad. "in the end it comes down to you abandoned me...you never even tried to contact me...so fuck you...and maybe I will do to you what you did to grandfather one day"
"I suppose then that day...will be...my epitath..." his father muttered.

Elayna was about to keep going when she heard some interesting words. She stopped short, hearing the words. So Kaze had been abandoned, it seemed. That was the cause of the strife between the two. Her eyes widened as she listened in, continueing to hear and understand. Obviously they had problems, but they struck her as shockingly similiar.
From the words, it also sounded like her teacher had murdered his own father. Was that true? Kaze certainly sounded like he had been threatening to kill his father. Would he actually do that? Well if he followed his father's footsteps, he would. Elayna pressed herself against the wall, too focused on listening to really consider the fact that he would soon discover she had been eavesdropping.

Kaze growled lightly at his fathers responce and turned on heel towards the door.
"You do know she is watching" he heard his father say softly. Kaze turned and glared at his father he wasn't an idiot. he could hear he as well...people often thought they were quiet but a trained ear could hear it.
"That changes nothing...and I don't care...she's just another student..." he growled.
"...well I think you do care...she's the first person you haven't chased off in this school..." he said sitting down lightly. Kaze growled darkly and pulled his gun from his pocket and leveled it at his fathers chest right were the heart would be.
"Fuck you..." he growled then shot the gun. his father instantly slumped back and fell down the chair as Kaze walked towards the door.

Elayna heard them talking about her, silently cursing herself for being caught. She then heard the gunshot, snapping around to look inside as Kaze walked out. Instinctively she grabbed his arm to stop him in her panic, but released him when she realized she was touchign him. "KAZE!" She exclaimed looking from him to his father in shocked horror "Did you... did you just kill him....?! We have to help him!" Even though she didn't like what his father had done to him, she couldn't just let him die.

It was quite obvious that the tall man had shot his father in the heart and it was equillay as obvious that he was completely unfazed by his own action.
"...Help him if you want" he said walking past her his eyes were as cold as ice. "...It's not importaint" he looked over at her lightly his eyes still completely heartless. He then walked out the door and down the hall.

Elayna looked after Kaze in shock and disbelief, finding this event unimaginable. She didn't want to anger the man she'd made a connection with, but she couldn't watch her teacher die. With a shocked huff she turned and bolted inside, running up to her teacher. "Please don't die on me!" She said, grabbing a strip of cloth from her cloak and getting ready to work on the wound, panicked as she went to investigate.

The blood was slowly pooling onto the ground then as if by magic it slowly started to drain back into the wound as it slowly closed pushing the bullet out. the man who moments ago looked dead sighed deeply and opened his eyes looking at Elayna.
"...I really do hate it when he does that..." he said with a half smile. "Don't worry about me young lady...I have the unfortunate curse of Immortality" he slowly stood up to show her the wound was fully healed.

"Oh my God...." Elayna gasped, looking at her perfectly normal teacher. "You can't die? You just let him murder you over and over again....?" She asked, suddenly feeling quite over her head with these two. "I mean I can see that Kaze is a difficult one to deal with...." Elayna sighed, her opinion of this place being quite mixed up at this present point. "You have one crazy school sir...." Elayna said, relieved that he was still alive. "I am glad that you are alright sir...."
