A steely expression was on the young woman's face as she held the gaze of the lesser demon before her. He was an incubus, and a weak one at that. He'd been stealing the souls of fourteen year olds the past couple of days and Tehra had managed to track him down. As she cornered him, the demon smirked at her, doing his best to make her appreciate his handsome looks.
But it wouldn't work, of course not. Tehra was immune to these sorts of things. She knew what he was, and she knew what he was doing. He didn't stand a chance, not against her. The night wind blew her pink curls lightly, the only movement at the moment. Her body was still, her gaze hard.
"You know you really are a pathetic creature. Fourteen year olds? You disgust me." Tehra snarled, her face vicious, her teal eyes dead set on his red ones. She held her sword, resting it across her shoulders as she stared the creature down, baiting him, waiting for his move. He just continued to smirk.
"You think I care what a pathetic god-loving falllen has to say to me?" He chuckled darkly, walking towards her with a swagger, expecting her to break at his touch.
As he approached her, Tehra caught his hand "You think I'd let a monster like you touch me? You are sorely mistaken." the pretty young fallen smirked darkly, malicious intent filling her expression. And a split second later, the incubus's head was on the ground, his shocked expression staring blankly at the sky until he turned to ash and the gentle wind blew him away.
"Too easy... these demons are getting weaker...I'd loe a real challenge." She sighed to herself, wiping the black blood off her blade before sheathing it. Tehra still had some hunting to do tonight, but she had no need to have her blade drawn- she still needed to track another demon down.

His slender frame seemed Delicate when you looked at it from afar. he sat on the corpse of the woman who had died so easily in his hands the coursing feeling of power rushed thru his body but then following it was that old guilt. He shook his head looking down at the body standing up. She had been worthless unknown a whore. He stepped away from the body wipeing his hands on his pants. He had promised her he wouldn't kill but, he couldn't help it.
"....I need a shower..." he muttered softly to himself running his hand thru his long blood red hair. "It was either you or my sanity...." he said coldly looking back at the body...

As she walked, Tehra felt another presence nearby, and as she was apt to do in these situations, she followed that feeling until she reached two people. Approaching them from the front, she made her way carefully down the alley until the full extent of their forms were made visible. There was a woman, dead on the ground, and then a slender man standing above her. Looking him over, Tehra saw no accoutrements of any of the demons she was used to fighting. No vampire scent about him (they always smelled musky), no werewolf, no incubus. He looked like a man, but she could feel that he wasn't, and she could tell from the look on his face that he'd done the deed.
Which meant she had to do something about it.
"You kill her then?" Tehra asked, walking up to him, her hand poised to draw her blade if need be. Which she would need to, though she planned to lure him in first so that he wouldn't be ready to defend against her.

Azreal heard the voice his silver eyes slipping over towards her as he hunched his sholders he hated being caught. He looked at her wearily.
"are you going to kill me then?" he asked wearily looking at her his long red hair in his face. "if so you should do it now..." he said coldly smirking as he ran his hand thru his hair again looking at her arrogantly.
'Kill me....go ahead I deserve to die after all...'

His reaction threw her off. And those eyes.... something about those silver eyes. "You would let me kill you? Just like that?" Tehra asked, expecting at least a little fight out of him. This seemed suspicious. Why would he ask her to kill him? "Why'd you do it, kill her I mean?" Tehra asked, hoping that would shed a little light on the situation.
"Who are you?" She asked, taking a cautious step towards him, wondering about those damn silver eyes. Her instincts told her he wasn't human, she knew that much. But her curiosity made her want to know what he was exactly. Nothing had silver eyes.

Azreal smirked when she spoke to him asking him.
"I killer her because I'm selfish I killed her because I felt like it..." he said looking at her with his pricing silver eyes. "and I hate myself for it...." he said coldly but smirked.
"you should kill me you know....becuse I'll just end up doing it again" he said crouching down next to the body putting a hand on it. his eyes were confused clouded.
'I'm a monster....' he gentily caressed the dead womans cheek. 'I'm sorry for this...'

Tehra didn't understand. It made absolutely no sense. Why would he just invite her to kill him. And more importantly, why hadn't she done it yet? She couldn't bring herself to do it, not when there was clearly no fight left in the man. It was like killing a tiger that just stood in the corner and looked at you sadly, begging for it. It just didn't feel right.
"If you hate killing so much, why don't you stop?" She asked, hoping that if maybe she could talk him into saying he wouldn't kill again she'd be able to let him go. Destroying a wounded animal just didn't seem fair.

Az laughed dryly as she said it his hair in his face as he peered at her thru it.
"....becuse....I like it...becuse I feel the power when I take there lives and it clears my head...." he shook his head as he said it. insanity that is what it was he had probubly gone insane a long time ago.
"....Becuse I'm death..." he said coldly looking at her with those silvery eyes there was a strange sadness to them. "Becuse....if I stop....it will only get worse....and if it gets worse....then even more will die" he said weakly.

"You're death?" Her teal eyes widened. Obviously she didn't believe him. Death wasn't a person, it was an event, an occurence sometimes natural sometimes not. But it was not a person. He was too insane to let roam free though, and so she had no choice but to do him in. Perhaps if she closed her eyes and pretended she was killing someone who was begging for mercy rather than for her blade she'd feel better about it.
And with that thought, Tehra raised her blade and brought it down towards his chest, aiming to stab him right in the heart.

Azreal saw the blade coming he welcomed it untill he heard her again in the back of his head from long ago.
'you can't die ok?' he winced slightly and grabbed the sword with his hand fire suddenly engulfing.
"...I can't die yet..." he said quietly looking at her with those pleading eyes that seemed to say help me.

As the fire occurred, Tehra leapt back completely in shock. "What?!" she exclaimed, dropping her blade to the ground, her eyes never once moving from his. "You told me to kill you... I was doing as you asked..." The fallen shook her hand out, it had gotten nicked by the flames. "I don't understand... what is that power you have...."
She wasn't afraid per se, as he hadn't really attacked her, just the situation, but she was certainly a lot more on edge. He was unbalanced, off kilter, insane. Insanity was always a danger. Picking her blade back up, Tehra held onto it tightly, so tightly that her knuckles were turning white. She was getting nervous around this strange, strange man. "Look if you're going to keep killing I can't let you live... not unless you turn your killing needs into killing demons and those that harm the innocent..." Tehra said, an idea suddenly ocurring to her. Perhaps...

Azreal looked at her slightly as he realized he had burned her he hadn't ment to harm her. he frowned.
"....what do you mean?" he asked his head was clouded like always he leaned against the wall his hand to his face as he frowned. "....I can't die yet....I promised her I would stay alive...." he whispered to himself as he looked at his own hand still smudge with blood.
"...I...i'm sorry....my heads still not clear...."he whispered.

"It's fine... I understand your apology." Tehra said, shaking her head. She didn't know what she was doing. She should kill him. Right then, just take him out and watch him die. He was a danger, a wild card. But he had such power... who's to say he couldn't kill her before she got to him?
"What I mean is... if you have to kill, then do it for the right reasons. I spend all night every night killing. Usually a couple a night. But I've never once taken an innocent life. This city has millions of people. A lot of them are demons, vampires, werewolves, etc. A lot of those get a kick out of killing innocents. What I do is I kill them. I trail them and hunt them and take their lifes. Not twenty minutes ago I killed one. Help me. You can get your kill fill and I don't have to kill you." It was a risk, striking an alliance with someone so volatile, but at the moment it seemed like the only solution that didn't go against her code.

Azreal looked up at her as she said it with his strangely sad silver eyes. He wasn't sure if he trusted her he had been alone for so long now left to wallow in the darkness that had surounded him. the idea of someone offering him hope....light? he frowned weakly.
"....I...." he pursed his lips biting his lower one untill it bled. "....I'm an idiot" he said shaking his head. his hair falling in his face.
"...Your right...." he frowned.

"Hey now..." Tehra said, stepping close to him and brushing the blood from his lips with her thumb. It was only after she'd done it that she realized her gesture, and she quickly retreated her hand, wiping the blood on her pants as she looked at the ground.
A moment later her teal eyes trailed back up to his dark sad silver ones. "Look I know nothing about you, and I'm insane for inviting you to join me... but maybe you can turn this strange obssession of yours with death into a good thing. But you have to understand, if I catch you killing innocents again, I have to kill you." Tehra said, with as much coldness as she could muster.
"I have a code, and I have to adhere to it, so please do ask me to do something I'd really rather not do. Your death is not one I want on my hands. Do you want to join me?" She asked, her tone growing softer as she spoke. Tehra wanted to place her hand on his cheek, but he seemed like this far unreachable, untouchable creature. Her curls blew lightly in the wind as she watched his eyes, waiting for some response from his end.

The male looked at her as she said it and nodded slowly. He had to do something his life as it was was only the darkness that all he knew she had been his light but she had left him destroyed him. He was death he couldn't blame her She hadn't done it it had been him.

"Do you have a place to stay?" Tehra asked, holding his gaze to keep his attention focused on her. She knew it was dangerous to ask, stupid, even, but she couldn't just leave him huddled in a heap in an alleyway. Besides, if he stayed with her, at least she could keep an eye on him.
"I'm going to help you okay? I don't know what you are, but I'm going to help you with these killing urges you have." Tehra spoke, still not believing him to be death. "And I also just realized I never introduced myself. My name is Tehra. Tehra LeVerryn."

"Azreal...Rou...." he said looking at her as he slowly stood up pulling his hair over his sholder. "....I don't really stay in one place long anymore" he said quietly.
"....and I told you...I am death....but I suppose I'm also a demi-god or at least half..." he said coldly as he looked at her his head clearing a bit.

"Demi God. Okay. That makes sense." She was relieved to now know what she was dealing with, but the revelation of what he was scared her. If he was a demi god, that meant that he was more powerful than she could be for years. Heaven forbid he ever set his sights on killing her. She wouldn't stand a chance unless she ran. But she needn't think about that.
"Nice to meet you Azrael." The name, it was the name of the angel of death. Could he really be what he said he was? Was he really that which destroyed all lives? Tehra prayed not, but she felt it in her gut. He was. It made sense. And then she realized how stupid she was. She should've just let him go, not offered to help him. But now she had no choice.
"Look I have a place. Do you want to stay there? If you're going to help me, I need to be able to find you, and it would be easy to find you at my own house." She laughed, hoping to break up her own tension as well as his.

Azreal looked at her as she offered her place furrowing his brow slightly.
"Thats not normal you know..." he muttered talking about her offering a complete stranger to stay at her place he was slowly regaining his composure as he was able to think again. "....I mean...you already know I'm a killer..." he frowned biting his lip again regretting it as he realized it hurt from the first time he had done it.
