Seiryuu shrugged lightly as she spoke to him mentioning that it must be hard to handle he turned lightly to look at her.
"No one can save her...her fate was set the moment she was born... everyone's is....Even mine no matter how much I hate what I know to be true....still...I can pretend anyways" he said smirking as he ran a hand thru his hair. He turned back away from her and started up the steps. Seiryuu was a confusing person when it came down to it. He seemed to be in alot of mental anguish with his words but, the way he shrugged it off and smiled instead was remarkable. He was so good at lieing to himself that he had even convinced himself he was human.
"Anyways enough of that I hate talking about depressing things" He laughed jovialy as he got to the top of the steps and turned around to look at her a mischievous grin on his face. "after you get cleaned up and relaxed you wanna go do something more interesting then talk...I know a nice Karaoke bar... the manager there owes me a few favors might as well punch them in" he smirked.

"Well I guess that's one way to look at it..." She said, continuing on with him. He was so open about his struggles, it was fairly disconcerting."I think destinies can be changed." Although Tehra knew she was lying, there was nothing she could do about her own fate, but perhaps he still had time fix it.
She watched him, curious as to why he was so willing to be open to her, a near perfect stranger. It didn't make much sense, but perhaps all Seiryuu wanted was for someone to at least remotely understand him, and perhaps he thought she could. Tehra really had no idea, but she was fairly certain she'd find out.
"Sure. Karaoke sounds fun." She smiled, folowing him inside. "Where is the spring?"

Seiryuu pointed to an old looking building that had been contructed around the hot springs his hands behind his head.
"Theres a small dressing room before you go into the actual hotsprings you can undress in there...the walls are don't have any peep holes if you where curious" he said with that strange mischivious look he got from time to time. "Dad keeps it up pretty well so yeah" He leaned against one of the large trees near him watching her with his piercing eyes.

"Alright thanks, I'll be back in a bit." Tehra said, smiling at him as walked into the dressing room. Finding a towel, Tehra carefully undressed, doing her best to keep as much gore off the clothing as possible. After she finished that, she walked out to the hot spring and stepped into the water. It felt absolutely amazing against her sore muscles and dirty body.
After a while of washing and relaxing in there, Tehra grabbed the towel from the edge and gingerly stepped out, immediately missing the warmth of the water. She went back into the room, seeing her clothing on the floor with a sigh. It was all black leather and battle gear, hardly anything fit to be worn out in public. "Seiryuu?" Tehra called, hoping he was nearby. She'd have to see if there were any women's clothes in the house and if she could borrow them.

Seiyuu sat outside the bathhouse as she took her bath his green eyes staring up at the sky witch was starting to clear from the morning mists. he smirked to himself lightly as he sat there thinking. about? well anything he could anything to keep his mind off that other thought. A week ago he had met the lavender haired fallen named Machiro and he had shattered his world. Seiryuu even now didn't want to admit what he really was. one of those things that chased Mazuki...one of those evil things that lurked in the dark. He sighed to himself and heard Tehra's voice calling him from his haze and he shook his head.
"Huh...ohh what..." he muttered standing up lightly/

Tehra leaned out the door, towel clasped to her body. "Do you happen to have any women's clothing here? If not I need to run home before go out. I can't exactly walk around the city in day time in my battle gear." She grinned, motioning to the warrior attire at her feet, her curly pink hair hanging long about her face. Though once she was cleaned up, her pleasing countenance was much more obvious. She looked nice without blood interfearing with her features.

Seiryuu looked distracted as she looked out at him a odd look on his face like he wasn't seeing anything that was actually infront of him he then blinked lightly and looked at her finally and smirked trying to cover up his obvious distraction.
"Sorry what...ohh...yeah I think we do...My mom just left her stuff and dad's to sentimental to get rid of it... I can go get something for you unless you want to wonder around in a towle" he laughed as he said it.

"I'm sure you'd love for me to do that." She grinned wickedly, meeting his eyes. She wasn't certain if it was her body or something else that had distracted him a moment ago. She couldn't really read Seiryuu, not at all. It was interesting but also odd for her. Tehra was used to being able to read people, she was hyper sensitive to human emotion for some reason, ever since her death. She sighed to herself at the thought. It bothered her more than normal now that she had someone with her that seemed to understand her pain.
It made her feel guilty, not liking her fate simply because she hadn't chosen it, but she knew she shouldn't feel that way. What she was doing was right, and she needed to remember that. That should make it worth it right?
"Yes I'd appreciate that.... and also, if its any consolation to you, I had no choice in my life either. No one ever asked if I wanted to do this. I was human once" Tehra added, hoping he would respond well to that.

Seiryuu nodded lightly as she spoke then frowned when she mentioned not having a choice.
"Like I said ealier no one has a choice in there life...if you think you do...then you've fallen for the delusion the fates have implanted in your head" he said with a quick smirk before he walked into the house. he found his mothers old room quickly she had never slept in the same room with his dad. well maybe they had before he was born but she pretty much shut everything out after his birth. He sighed pulling out a sundress. he walked back towards the outside once again getting lost in his thoughts as he aproched her again he had that distant look.
"Here...hope it fits...it might be a bit big but it should be ok" he said shaking his head then grinning.

"I suppose that's true. I guess I'd just rather not think about it, though when you spend every night killing demons where you used to spend them out with seventeen year old friends, you can't help but think about it daily. They're so lucky, humans. They don't know what they have" Tehra said, taking the dress from him and putting it on. It was a little large in the waist, but since it had a tie Tehra was able to made it fit. Dresses weren't usually her thing but she suppsoed today wasn't her usual day. "Alright I'm ready." She emerged, wearing the dress and her boots with it. It actually was a sort of cute, eclectic look.
"Ready to go?"

"Hey don't get me wrong I'm human" Sieryuu said somewhat more defensively then he had meant to. He grinned to cover it and took her hand tugging it as he started to pull her towards the town. "you look awesome...lets go have fun and forget about this bull shit" he said brightly. Sieryuu was a strange person he had always been that way. people thought they knew him some even assumed they knew more then he did.
However, There was a hidden seiryuu one that he showed to no one the one he covered up with smiles and smirks jokes and all around erratic behavior. It was easier to pretend to be the goof then to fess up to his real nature and him.

"Not completely you aren't..." Tehra said "Something else is in you, though I cannot tell you what. But yes, we should go enjoy ourselves." She smiled, enjoying the feel as he took her hand. How long had it been since a guy had held her hand? Probably about as long ago as she'd died. Even though Tehra knew it was a completely platonic hand hold, the physical contact felt nice. The majority of her physical contact lately had been vampire bites and battle wounds.
"Does the karaoke place have food as well?" She asked, familiar with karaoke but never having been to one here. Her friends had never been into that, and karaoke wasn't exactly something you did alone.

Seiryuu's bangs seemed to fall into his face as she mentioned him having something else inside him his eyes looked away from her as he let go of her hand he didn't say anything as she asked him a question.
"I'm just human...nothing else human....I don't have anything else about me...I'm good at swords yeah but that doesn't mean anything...I'm human" he said it like she has accused him of something haneous. when he looked up at her again he smiled. "Alright sorry.. yeah...food they have food " he laughed and started to walk again but didn't take her hand this time.

So she'd hit a nerve. This boy had some deep seated issues, that was painfully obvious to Tehra, what they were however was not anywhere near as easy to figure out. Perhaps it had something to do with the Fates and the Fallen's jewel game, a silly thing to Tehra. It put far too much undue stress on people so young. Honestly, Tehra was glad that, if she had to become a fallen, it was by one who wasn't caught up in their loyalties. He killed what harmed the innocent and ignored the rest. Certainly Tehra would have been an asset to their team, but they had yet to proposition her. Something she'd heard was quite a nasty experience. From the rumors (and it was rumors alone), Tehra had heard they seldom accepted a no.
"I'm sorry Seiryuu, you're right, my senses are likely just thrown off by my exhaustion and that fact that you knew what demons were. Most humans don't know." She was lying, Tehra knew something was in him, but she thought that, for the sake of the day she'd pretend like she'd simply made a mistake. Thank goodness she was a good liar. Tehra caught up to him, but made no attempt to move close to him. "Good... I'm pretty hungry" She smiled.

Seiryuu was glad for her to say that even tho he knew she knew every goddamn person who wasn't normal knew even Minthriss even tho she didn't know what it was. He closed his eyes lightly as he tried to calm his quickly beating heart he had gotten a bit to worked up over that one. He just hated it being one of them...He looked at her and smirked.
"Naw it's ok everyone makes mistakes....your not the first to think I was something I'm not" he grinned then laughed. "After all...I'm just awesome like that" he said jovially.

"I suppose you are" Tehra said with a laugh. Damn, how she wished she hadn't screwed that one up. His hand had been nice. At least he'd forgiven her indiscretion (Except that the indiscretion was completely founded in fact). It was odd, the sense inside him felt very similar to how her own race felt to her, yet not quite there. She didnt' think he was a half blood, it was so odd. Perhaps she'd find out in time.
"How far is the karaoke place?" She asked, trying to keep the conversation lighthearted even though a thousand weights were on the both of them. Perhaps it would do well for her to forget her job for a day.

Seiryuu looked at her with his piercing green eyes and gave her a Cheshire like smile.
"Not to far from here...I do the guy allot of help getting the dead beats out around closing time...his son is one of my jerky friends" he said obviously enjoying calling his friends jerks. he smiled again but like always there was just something not right about the smile. it was to wide to happy go lucky...he had been told by Mara one of his friends that his smile creeped him out because she always felt like it looked like he was thinking about the worse thing in the world and finding it funny when he smiled.

Why was he so determined to hide everything real about him? The worst part was that Tehra couldn't even ask, it would only cause him to pull away more. Of course she knew by now he hated what he was and had a major problem with it. She fell behind a few steps, not meaning to but her thought process caused her to pull away from him a bit.
"Well its good that you help him out, sorry your friends are such jerks" She said with a grin, choosing to cover up her suspicions about him. Tehra would just have to wait. Of course, her tiredness also added a bit to her slowing down. Though the spring had been relaxing, she had failed to get any actual sleep. Perhaps tonight she would stay home rather than fight.

Seiryuu nodded and frowned lightly.
"not really...I mean...there good firends but they have poor sense of judgment then again...I probubly don't have a very great one myself" he laughed as he turned the street reaching the kareoke bar.
"Ahh here it is" he smiled.

"I don't know that anyone has as good of judgement as they think they do." Tehra said, following him into the karaoke bar. They'd likely be the only people in there considering the ungodly hour of the day it was. Tehra wasn't even sure of the time, she hadn't checked her phone in hours considering it was back at her home. Vampire hunting wasn't really a good place to take your phone. As she thought about vampires, Tehra recalled the bite she'd received the night prior.
Her other clothing had covered it, but now she supposed it likely looked like a very bad hickey. Well that was just great. Absentmindedly Tehra ran her hand over it, it was still throbbing a little. Great, it had been a marking bite. The vampire had gotten away, but instead of just drinking he'd marked her. Lovely, that meant she'd run into him again. It wasn't much of a concern though, he hadn't been that powerful. Something had just distracted Tehra long enough for him to run. Sighing to herself she removed her hand, hoping no one said anything.
